I have had tight hips and lower back pain for many years but the stretches are done on a daily basis, similar to yoga stretches, are excellent for relieving sciatica and lower back pain and loosening your hips to prevent tight hips causing pain when sat at the computer for a long time. Many doctors recommend yoga therapy as part of physiotherapy which are simply stretches that relieve back pain.
